COTUR investigated the measurement of offshore turbulence using synchronised long-range Doppler wind lidars at Obrestad.
As a scientific expert, I helped redirect the project when it encountered measurement and methodological challenges. The resulting work developed practical lidar-deployment strategies and methods for interpreting spatial turbulence measurements.
